Pre-Congress Workshops @ Kuching, Sarawak5 August 2026 (Wednesday)

Pre-Congress Workshops will be held at Kuching, Sarawak on 5 August 2026 (Wednesday) and are open to Malaysian and international delegates. The programme features a series of interactive half-day workshops designed for occupational health and safety practitioners. Each workshops is capped at 50 participants to support active engagement and hands-on learning. Four half-day sessions are delivered across the day, enabling participants to tailor learning to both clinical and workplace-focused practice:

Note: The Kuala Lumpur and Kuching evnets are scheduled on consecutive days. Therefore, attendance at both events are not feasible.

Early registration is encouraged. Participants are invited to arrive in Kuching before the main congress to take part in workshops and local activities, allowing time to consolidate new knowledge and apply in workplace health and safety roles.

Terms & Conditions

  1. All fees are to be paid in full upon registration.
  2. Registration fee is inclusive of 8% SST.
  3. Registered fees include admission to all congress sessions (excluding pre-congress workshops and the technical tours), daily lunch, tea breaks, transportation (only from designated pick-up locations to BCKK), and congress kit.
  4. Registration fee does not cover for the Gala Dinner on 7 August 2026.
  5. Participants will be notified of their confirmed registration via e-mail only upon receipt of full payment.
  6. Any data collected from the participants will be used by the organiser only during the period of this event, unless prior consent has been given by the participant.
  7. Any medical information collected from the participants will be used by the organiser solely for the purpose of this congress.
  8. The organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule events due to government restrictions or unforeseen circumstances. 
  9. The organiser shall not be held responsible for views expressed by speakers, sponsors, and/or exhibitors.
  10. The organiser will not be held liable for any loss during the congress.

 

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  1. Cancellations must be notified by email to the congress secretariat. Any cancellation made by 30 June 2026 from the congress date will be subjected to a 50% cancellation charge. 
  2. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person without incurring any cost penalty.
  3. No refund can be made after 30 June 2026.
  4. The congress secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers.

By registering for this congress, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded during the event. These materials may be used by the organiser – Academy of Occupational and Environment Medicine, Malaysia (AOEMM) for promotional purposes, including but not limited to promoting this event or other similar events hosted by AOEMM.
