Social Programme

The ACOH 2026 Social Programme has been carefully curated to complement the scientific sessions, providing delegates with meaningful opportunities to network, exchange ideas, and experience the rich cultural heritage of Sarawak. These activities are designed to foster professional connections in a relaxed and engaging environment while showcasing the warmth, diversity, and natural beauty of the host destination.

The congress will commence with a Welcome Reception, offering delegates an opportunity to meet fellow participants, speakers, and organisers in an informal setting. Light refreshments and local hospitality will set the tone for a collegial and collaborative congress experience.

A highlight of the social programme is the Congress Dinner (Gala Night), featuring cultural performances and local cuisine. This evening provides a relaxed atmosphere for networking, celebration, and appreciation of Sarawak’s cultural identity.

Note: The Congress Dinner may be ticketed and is subject to separate registration.

Throughout the congress, delegates will enjoy structured and informal networking opportunities during breaks and social functions. Selected sessions may incorporate local cultural elements to enhance the overall delegate experience.

Delegates and accompanying persons are invited to participate in a range of optional tours and experience programmes, showcasing Sarawak’s heritage, nature, and biodiversity. These may include city and heritage tours, cultural village visits, wildlife encounters, and river cruises.

All tours are optional and can be booked separately.

A dedicated Companion Programme may be available, offering curated activities for accompanying persons to explore Kuching and its surroundings while delegates attend the congress sessions.

The Social Programme is an integral part of ACOH 2026, reflecting the congress’s commitment to professional engagement, cultural exchange, and memorable experiences. Further details and schedules will be updated as the congress approaches.
