Associate Professor Gan Wee Hoe

Associate Professor Gan Wee Hoe is the Chief Executive Officer of Eastern General Hospital, a new 1,000-bed acute general hospital in Singapore scheduled to open in 2029, while maintaining a clinical practice in Occupational Medicine at Singapore General Hospital. He serves as adjunct faculty at Duke-NUS Medical School, Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. He is the Immediate Past President of the College of Public Health and Occupational Physicians. Prior to joining the public healthcare sector, A/Prof Gan served in the Singapore Armed Forces, where his final appointments were Chief Air Force Medical Officer and Assistant Chief of the SAF Medical Corps. In recognition of his contributions to healthcare and public service, he has received several national honours, including the Public Administration Medal (Silver), and was conferred the Honorary Fellowship of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine in 2022.
