Dr Alexander Voon Hsien Loong SD Guthrie Berhad
A corporate health advisor and HSE practitioner based in Kuala Lumpur, with over twelve years of experience bridging medicine, consulting, and corporate governance across the Asia-Pacific region. My work sits at the intersection of healthcare strategy, occupational health, and ESG/ILO compliance, advising C-suites and designing operating models for large-scale healthcare transformation.
I currently serve as Senior Manager for HSE Performance, Governance and Medical Services at SD Guthrie Berhad, where I previously held roles as Chief Medical Officer and Interim Head of HSE. My team and I have directed healthcare transformation across 114 clinics and 16 medical centers spanning Malaysia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands, touching the lives of more than 85,000 employees and their families.
Before SD Guthrie, I built a healthcare ecosystem at Speedoc, founded Kindle Management Solutions to consult for oil & gas and industrial clients, and started my career as a medical doctor with the Malaysian Ministry of Health in Sarawak. I hold a medical degree from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, MBA from Veritas University College, and Master of Public Health from Universiti Malaya.
