Dr Nor Azira Ismail Integrated Healthcare Technology

Dr. Nor Azira Ismail is a Rehabilitation Medicine Physician and the Group Medical Director of Integra Healthcare Technology Sdn Bhd. She oversees clinical strategy, service development, and multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs at Integra’ s subsidiary, IHT Rehab centers, a network of ambulatory rehabilitation centers, the first of its kind in Malaysia. With the development 6 centers across Malaysia by the end of 2026, IHT Rehab is now the leading private ambulatory rehabilitation service provider in Malaysia, offering comprehensive and outcome driven rehabilitation services to the community. Dr Nor Azira has held key roles, with over 20 years of experience in Malaysia’s public and private healthcare sectors. Beyond her administrative and clinical responsibilities, Dr. Nor Azira has been a strong advocate for international collaboration and innovation in rehabilitation medicine. She has facilitated cross border knowledge exchange, contributed to research initiatives, and supported strategic partnerships aimed at strengthening rehabilitation and vocational reintegration services in Malaysia. Passionate about advancing the field, she has played a key role in developing specialized rehabilitation programs—including stroke, dysphagia, and pediatric services—enhancing the quality of care while nurturing future talent in the profession. Dr. Nor Azira holds an MBBS from the University of Adelaide, a Master of Rehabilitation Medicine from the University of Malaya, and a Diploma in Pediatrics from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. Besides IHT Rehab, she continues to practice as a sessional consultant in pediatric and adult rehabilitation at Avisena Women and Children Specialist Hospital and Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara."
