Clinical Assistant Professor Dr Robin Low Chin Howe Occupational & Aviation Medicine Service, Changi General Hospital

Dr Robin Low Chin Howe is a specialist in both Aviation Medicine and Occupational Medicine. Dr Low trained in the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) as an Aviation Medical Officer. During his 19 year career in the RSAF, he held various operational, staff and leadership appointments before attaining the pinnacle appointment of Chief Air Force Medical Officer from 2008-2013. He subsequently joined ST Healthcare as Medical Director of the Singapore Aeromedical Centre before moving on to his current position in Changi General Hospital, where he led the setting up of the Occupational and Aviation Medicine Service in 2024. Dr Low also serves as an adjunct lecturer in National University of Singapore and Singapore University of Social Sciences. Dr Low has special interest in the study of human factors and human error reduction, which he applies to his work in both aviation and occupational medicine. He is also appointed a Consultant to the Transport Safety Investigation Bureau of Singapore since 2015.
