Mr Nicholas James Pahl Society of Occupational Medicine (SOM)

Nick Pahl is the Chief Executive Officer of the Society of Occupational Medicine, the United Kingdom’s largest and oldest professional organisation for occupational health. With extensive leadership experience across the NHS, Hospice UK, and MSI, he is widely recognised for advancing occupational health knowledge and policy. Nick holds an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and currently serves as Chair of ROSPA’s National Occupational Health and Safety Committee. In 2025, he received honorary membership and the President’s Medal from the Faculty of Public Health for his contributions to public health and occupational medicine.
