Emeritus Professor Dr Krishna Gopal Rampal is a distinguished public health and occupational health expert with nearly five decades of professional experience, including 43 years in academia. He previously served at Malaysia’s Ministry of Health, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and University of Cyberjaya, where he concluded his academic career as Professor of Community and Occupational Medicine. Prof Rampal is internationally recognised for his contributions to occupational health and has received numerous prestigious honours, including Malaysia’s National Leadership Award in Occupational Safety and Health and Fellowship appointments from leading occupational medicine institutions in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Italy.
